Who we are

EasyBusinessRegistration is a trading name of AMBIHQ Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10765980), registered office 124-128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the “data controller” for the personal data described here.

What data we collect

• Quiz answers — the answers you give in our planner (for example business type, priorities, and revenue band) so we can build your recommendation.
• Contact details — your email address, if you choose to have your plan or founder tips emailed to you.
• Usage data — with your consent, analytics about how you use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser). See our Cookie Policy.
• Click data— when you click through to a partner, we log the click (partner, category, timestamp) to measure what’s useful and to reconcile any referral fees.
• Technical logs — standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept briefly for security and reliability.

We do not ask for or store financial details, passwords, or government ID numbers.

Why we use it, and our lawful bases

• To generate and deliver your recommendation and (if requested) email your plan — lawful basis: performance of a service you asked for and, for marketing emails, consent.
• To measure and improve the site and understand which recommendations help — lawful basis: consent (analytics) and legitimate interests (first-party click measurement).
• To keep the site secure and working — lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site, under contract and only for these purposes:

• Brevo — email delivery and our contact list.
• Google Analytics — website analytics, only if you consent.
• Companies House — to check company-name availability when you use the name checker.
• Affiliate networks — a click identifier is passed when you follow a partner link, so any referral fee can be attributed.
• Our hosting provider — to serve the site.

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent) are in place.

How long we keep it

We keep quiz responses and click data for as long as needed to provide and improve the service, and contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• access a copy of your data;
• correct or delete your data;
• object to or restrict processing;
• withdraw consent at any time (this doesn’t affect prior processing);
• data portability.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
